The Door of Hope is a transitional home in Live Oak, Florida, created by the Apostolic Lighthouse Church of Live Oak, Florida as a step of faith and compassion for young women in need. Our mission is to provide a safe, stable, and supportive environment for females ages 18-21 who are aging out of care or transitioning from various programs. We offer alcohol and drug free housing, practical life skills training, job support through local partnerships and mentorship that fosters emotional and spiritual groups. Through the Door of Hope Celebrate Recovery Program services are offered.

First things first. As a First Responder, you always put the community first, now it’s time to put your family, faith, and wellbeing first.

We provide:

  • Training and Group Presentations
  • Wellness Coaching and Meetings
  • Faith-based Groups
  • Counseling with a Licensed Therapist

We serve active or former First Responders, Law Enforcement, Firefighters, EMS/Hospital/Medical Personnel, Dispatch or Communications, Probation Officers, Corrections, and Military or Veterans, and their families in Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Levy, Madison, Suwannee, and Taylor Counties.

Our team can provide other workshops or training for trauma resilience at your business, agency, or church. We offer faith-based options as well.  Please contact us to schedule if you would like to host this training for first responders or family members.
