The Door of Hope is a transitional home in Live Oak, Florida, created by the Apostolic Lighthouse Church of Live Oak, Florida as a step of faith and compassion for young women in need. Our mission is to provide a safe, stable, and supportive environment for females ages 18-21 who are aging out of care or transitioning from various programs. We offer alcohol and drug free housing, practical life skills training, job support through local partnerships and mentorship that fosters emotional and spiritual groups. Through the Door of Hope Celebrate Recovery Program services are offered.

NorthStar Family Resource Center (NSFRC), serving Columbia County. NSFRC patrons have access to a wide array of on-site and referral-based family support services, including, but not limited to, concrete supports (e.g., healthy food options, clothing, emergency financial assistance, health screenings), employability skills training, financial literacy classes, afterschool programs, community events, such as an annual health and wellness expo, and referrals to other social service agencies.  NSFRC provides Opioid Awareness, Prevention, and Advocacy services for Columbia County. 

Vocational Rehabilitation assists individuals with disabilities to find and maintain employment.

Hope Florida serves as a connection point for community collaboration between the public and private sector, faith-based communities, and nonprofits. Through the efforts of our Hope Navigators, we are going beyond government to create a pathway for Floridians to live up to their God-given potential and accomplish the American Dream – ultimately achieving prosperity and economic self-sufficiency.
