LeTina’s Language of LOVE Ministries, Inc., a newly established 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to serving our community through blessing bags, hot meals, and resource support for anyone in need.
If you are aware of students, families, or individuals who may benefit from a hot meal or blessing bags, please do not hesitate to reach out. It is my joy and calling to walk alongside our community, providing practical help and spiritual encouragement where it is most needed. Mt Carmel Baptist Church provides 100 free hot lunches every first and third Thursday at noon (first-come first-served).

We have a kitchen that serves lunch, Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM and opens again at 4 PM Saturday through Thursday for dinner.

Events are as follows: the Veteran Stand Down event, clothing drives, school supply drives, and a haunted house every Halloween. We host an annual Halloween party, Christmas party, and Easter egg hunt for the children of the community. We host a Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner for the veterans in our community. We hold a toy drive every year for the children in our community in preparation for Christmas. One of our biggest events is the First Responder Luncheon.

Friday night is always Red Shirt Friday, RED standing for Remember Everyone Deployed. One of the entities either the Legion, the auxiliary, the Sons of the American Legion, American Legion Riders, Will provide a meal for the entire post for a donation of $10-$15 depending on what’s being served. This is one of the ways the entities raise funds for their specific programs. 

We are also designated as a disaster, relief collection site for American Legion, Department of , District 3, Which extends all the way to Steinhatchee.
